Dear sir/madam,
I dont know your email, and for this reason I use this form in order to contact you, excuse me for using this method.
I have just read yours email about the ffmpegx use in the forum http://www.videohelp.com/forum/index.php
I should be very grateful if you could help me with some advice using ffmpegx to encode AVI to DVD movie.
Converting AVI to DVD works great with ffmpeg, except with audio. It has failed every single time, no matter what options I change.
My process is:
1) drop my movie file, for example xxxxxx.avi, to ffmpegx "From" area to open it.
2) click the target Format puldown menu and I choose "DVD ffmpeg"; (Of course, I also use the option "DVD meg2enc")
3) Click the "encode" buttom. Thats very simple!
The encode process is very slow, but at last I have a xxxxxx.avi.ff.mpg.DVD folder containing the folders AUDIO_TS ( It is empty, normal??) and VIDEO_TS (containing some files). Furthermore, when ffmpegx has finishing, there are some new files out of the xxxxxx.avi.ff.mpg.DVD folder. These files are: xxxxxx.avi.ff.ac3, xxxxxx.avi.ff.m2v, xxxxxx.avi.ff.mpg.
When I use Apple DVD Player to view the results, the video is fine, but there is no audio in the movie.
Could you tell me what I am doing badly?
Yours sincerely
