OK apart from the techie aspect of running Windoze on the new Intel Macs, why do people want to do this anyway when 'we' have such a fabulous and superior operating system!? Can someone tell me!

Chris,

While some people would like to be able to dual-boot into XP so that they can use Windows-only apps their employers might require, for many of us dual-booting is merely the first step in the right direction. What I and many others would really like to see is virtualisation (a Virtual PC-type interface) where we can run individual Windows apps on the OS X operating system.

For web developers being able to test websites in Win IE would be a big bonus. For many others the appeal is gaming.
